Job summary

SolarScape Enterprises LLP - Gadre Group seeks an experienced manufacturing leader to oversee end-to-end plant operations, including production, quality, cost, and delivery in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. You will drive lean initiatives, TPM, Kaizen and continuous improvement, and coordinate with engineering, quality, EHS, PPC, procurement and HR to achieve targets.

• 15+ years of manufacturing experience with significant plant/operations leadership.
• Greenfield plant setup/commissioning experience preferred.
• Direct CdTe/BIPV experience advantageous.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Lead overall plant operations, production, productivity, quality, cost and delivery.
• Drive greenfield plant readiness, commissioning, trial production and ramp-up.
• Establish production systems, SOPs, manpower structure and operating processes.
• Monitor OEE, yield, capacity utilisation, rejection, downtime and productivity.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, RCA and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, EHS, PPC, Procurement, HR and other functions.
• Develop and lead the plant team, including recruitment, training and skill development.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and statutory requirements.
• Drive manufacturing cost optimisation and operational excellence.
• Report plant performance and key improvement initiatives to management.

Preferred candidate profile

• 15+ years of relevant manufacturing experience, with significant plant/operations leadership.
• Greenfield plant setup/commissioning experience preferred.
• Candidates from BIPV, Solar PV, Thin-Film PV, Solar Glass, Architectural/Specialty Glass, Advanced Materials, Coating or high-precision manufacturing will be preferred.
• Direct CdTe/BIPV experience will be an advantage but not mandatory.
