Job summary

Tata Electronics Private Limited is building India’s first AI-enabled semiconductor foundry in Assam, seeking an experienced Production Manager to plan and control manufacturing operations.

You will lead large teams, ensure quality and safety, monitor KPIs, drive cost savings, and report to site leadership. This role demands strong leadership, deep process knowledge, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent.
• 14–18 years of experience in production management.
• Experience in ISP or similar manufacturing environments.
• Experience in handling large teams and complex operations.
• Knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Plan & Schedule Production: Ensure timely execution of production plans to meet delivery targets.
• Manage Operations: Oversee daily manufacturing activities for efficiency and quality.
• Quality Compliance: Maintain IPC/ISO standards and drive defect reduction.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and train operators/technicians; manage workforce allocation.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce EHS standards and audit readiness.
• Cost Control: Monitor production costs, scrap, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Reporting: Track KPIs (OEE, FPY, output) and communicate performance to management.
