The role requires strong ERP/MIS skills, advanced Excel, and excellent coordination with cross-functional teams to optimize resources and reduce lead times.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in a metal accessories industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on orders and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate production activities across Zinc Die Casting, Buffing, Polishing, Plating, Assembly, QA, and Packing.
• Release and monitor production work orders for manufacturing stages.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Tool Room, Quality, Dispatch, and Sales for smooth flow.
• Follow up on pending orders and ensure on-time delivery dates.
• Prepare daily production reports, WIP reports, machine loading & dispatch plans.
• Optimize machine utilization and manpower allocation to improve productivity.
• Track production losses, rework, delays and drive corrective actions.
• Plan production considering plating, finishing, and assembly requirements.
• Ensure planning aligns with inventory and customer priorities.

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Planning Executive to manage production planning and scheduling across our manufacturing processes, including zinc die-casting, trimming, buffing, polishing, plating, assembly, quality inspection, and packing. The candidate will ensure on-time production, optimum resource utilization, and timely dispatch while coordinating with all manufacturing departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate production activities across Zinc Die Casting, Buffing, Polishing, Plating, Assembly, Quality Control, and Packing.
• Release and monitor production work orders for the manufacturing stage.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Tool Room, Quality, Dispatch, and Sales teams for smooth production flow.
• Follow up on pending production orders and ensure adherence to committed delivery dates.
• Prepare daily production reports, WIP reports, machine loading reports, and dispatch planning reports.
• Optimize machine utilization and manpower allocation to improve productivity.
• Track production losses, rejection, rework, and process delays, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Plan production considering plating capacity, finishing schedules, and assembly requirements.
• Ensure production planning aligns with inventory levels and customer priorities.
• Maintain accurate production planning records in ERP/MIS.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce lead time and improve production efficiency.
