Job summary

DSM-Firmenich Dahej, Bharuch, India is seeking a Production Operator for on-site responsibilities in a chemical processing environment. You will perform accurate raw materials charging, operate according to SOPs, handle loading/unloading of materials, blending, and batch data entry.

• 6–10 years of Production experience.
• Strong team player with good shop-floor execution and a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Accurate Raw Materials charging according to SOP/Batch sheet and shift-in-charge instructions.
• Maintain and control operating parameters of the process as per SOP/Batch sheets.
• Unload intermediates/fractions/products from equipment (reactor, batch still, tank, etc.).
• Load RM, materials and perform blending operations.
• Data entry/retrieval and report generation using computer systems; ensure accurate batch data.
• Ensure containers are clean and dry before use; label containers and storage properly.
• Sample as per SOP/Batch sheets; manage material shifting between storage and equipment.

Maintain & Control Operating parameter of Process as per SOP/Batch sheets.Unloading of intermediates/Fractions/products from equipment (Reactor/Batch still, Tank etc.). Loading of RM, Materials & Blending OperationsUtilizes computer technology for data entry/retrieval and calculations & also for generating reports. Ensure Clean & dry Container (TOTE, IBC, Drum) before use. Labelling on each container/storage & pipingSampling as per SOP/Batch sheets. Material shifting & Lifting between Storage area & Equipment as per requirement in SOP/Batch sheets. Record Downtime for equipment.Preparation of Equipment for Maintenance. (Depressurize, Empty, Isolation, Tagging) for Spot permits, Class I & Class II permits as required. Check Equipment for safe operation after completion of maintenance work.Follow HS&E guidelines & ensure a safe workplace. Report unsafe conditions & act to avoid near misses.
