Job summary

DSM-Firmenich AG in Hyderabad is seeking a Lead Expert Data Engineer-Procurement to design, build and govern data pipelines, enabling robust ingestion, transformation, and analytics across procurement domains.

You will lead a team of data engineers, collaborate with data modelers and stakeholders, apply modern development practices, and drive automated quality checks and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience creating and maintaining data pipelines.
• Expertise in dbt, SQL, Python, Spark (PySpark), Git, Azure DevOps and Databricks.
• Experience with cloud engineering (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure-as-code is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient pipeline architectures for data ingestion, transformation and storage.
• Develop modular, efficient code for data transformation and integration.
• Perform data ingestion from source systems and ETL when needed.
• Conduct pipeline maintenance and upgrades; troubleshoot issues to ensure performance.
• Implement automated data quality testing and validation.
• Collaborate with data engineers, modelers, SMEs, BI developers and data scientists.
