Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Bengaluru seeks a Production Manager for Railway Signaling Products focused on Metro and export projects. You will oversee manufacturing, assembly and testing of signaling cabinets and EI systems, ensuring compliance with Metro specifications and export standards.

Ideal candidates hold a BE/BTech in ECE/EEE/E&I with 15+ years in metro/export signaling. You will lead teams, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with multiple departments for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in ECE/EEE/E&I or equivalent.
• 15+ years of metro/export project experience in railway signaling products.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with RDSO guidelines and export documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing, assembly and testing of signaling cabinets and related products.
• Ensure compliance with Metro project specifications and export standards.
• Deep knowledge of cabinets, Electronic Interlocking (EI) systems and Metro signaling processes.
• Familiarity with RDSO and Metro customer inspection protocols.
• Strong understanding of electronics, wiring harnesses and signaling components.
• Mentor team on production processes and quality standards.
• Promote SIL-4 compliance and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project management, design and sales for quotations and clarifications.
• Manage customer inspections and ensure quality compliance.
• Engage with suppliers for timely delivery and QA.
• Evaluate supplier performance for electronics components.
• Support cost optimization and timely project delivery.

• Oversee manufacturing, assembly, and testing of railway signaling cabinets and related products.

• Hands-on experience with Handling the measuring instruments
• Handle customer issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with project management, design and sales teams for quotations and technical clarifications.
• Manage customer inspections and ensure quality compliance.
• Engage with suppliers for timely delivery and quality assurance.
• Evaluate and maintain supplier performance for electronics and electrical components.
• Train and mentor team members on production processes and quality standards.
• Promote adherence to SIL-4 compliance and safety protocols.
• Strong understanding of Metro and export project business models.
• Support cost optimization and timely project delivery.

Desired Skills:

• BE/B Tech in ECE/EEE/E&I
• 15 + years of metro and export projects in Railway signaling products.
• In-depth knowledge of Metro signaling cabinets, Electronic Interlocking, and Railway signaling standards.
• Expertise in assembly, wiring harness, and testing processes.
