Production Intern

The Production Intern will support daily dairy production operations, assisting in processing, packaging, and quality control while gaining hands‑on experience in maintaining hygiene, safety, and operational efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in daily dairy production processes such as pasteurization, homogenization, fermentation, and packaging.
- Support monitoring of production parameters including temperature, pressure, and hygiene standards.
- Help ensure optimal utilization of raw materials, labour, and machinery under supervision.
- Assist in maintaining production schedules to meet demand and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Support implementation of lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency.
- Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs) on the production floor.
- Assist in identifying basic operational issues and escalating equipment or process concerns.
- Maintain and update production logs, reports, and inventory records.
- Participate in training sessions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Education: Pursuing or recently completed B.Tech/M.Tech in Dairy Technology, Food Technology or related fields.
- Basic understanding of dairy processing techniques such as pasteurization and packaging.
- Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems is an added advantage.
- Strong willingness to learn with a proactive attitude.
- Good problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced and team‑oriented environment.
