Job summary

Tata AutoComp Systems Limited in Pune seeks an experienced Vertical Production Section Head to lead high-volume manufacturing operations. The role requires managing multiple production lines, steering a large workforce, and driving productivity improvements while ensuring safety and cost targets.

Ideal candidates have 13-15 years in automotive/engineering production, with hands-on line management experience and a track record of operational excellence in condenser/heat exchanger/radiator

Qualifications

• Experience in managing end-to-end production on multiple lines.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and contract manpower.
• Strong expertise in Lean, Kaizen, TPM and 5S practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end production activities across multiple manufacturing lines.
• Lead and supervise a large workforce comprising operators, supervisors, and contract manpower.
• Ensure achievement of production targets while maintaining quality, safety, and cost objectives.
• Monitor daily production performance and implement corrective actions to address bottlenecks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, and 5S practices.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and resources.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Planning teams for seamless operations.
• Improve line efficiency, productivity, OEE, and overall plant performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Handle manpower planning, performance management, and team development.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager/Senior Manager to lead high-volume manufacturing operations. The candidate should have strong expertise in handling production lines, managing a large workforce, driving productivity improvements, and ensuring smooth plant operations. Candidates with experience in manufacturing of Condensers, Radiators, Heat Exchangers, HVAC Components, or Automotive Systems will be preferred.
