About the Role

Digital Circuits Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Production Head to lead and oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations within our Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) business. The ideal candidate will have 20+ years of experience in the EMS industry, with a strong background in production management, process improvement, quality systems, and team leadership.

This role will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, achieving delivery commitments, optimizing resources, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall production activities across PCB assembly (SMT & THT), box-build assembly, cable and wire harnessing, and system integration.
• Develop and execute production plans to meet customer delivery schedules and business targets.
• Drive productivity, capacity utilization, quality, and operational efficiency across manufacturing lines.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve performance.
• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless production execution.
• Monitor and improve key manufacturing metrics such as OEE, FPY, on-time delivery, rejection rates, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and safety regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop production teams while fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
• Support new product introductions (NPI), process improvements, and production ramp-ups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field).
• 20+ years of experience in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production leadership role within an electronics manufacturing environment.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of SMT, PCB Assembly, Box Build, and Electronics Manufacturing processes.
• Experience in production planning, manufacturing operations, and resource management.
• Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and process improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing KPIs.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional coordination abilities.
