Husky Technologies is seeking a Production Designer Hot Runner to join our Chennai team. You will design and release hot runner systems from concept to production, collaborating with mold design and manufacturing to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires BE/B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), 2+ years in Mold/Mechanical design, and NX CAD experience. You will work across shifts and contribute to innovation in our high-precision tooling environment.

Formación

• BE/B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering required (or equivalent job-related experience).
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Mold Design with relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Mechanical/Mold Design preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Engineer an entire hot runner from concept to release for all common molds using CAD and BaaN.
• Follow well-established design rules and practices.
• Work with manufacturing to help resolve production issues.
• Maintain thorough job file documentation.
• Check others’ work and make specific recommendations for fixes as well as improvements.
• Demonstrate and maintain the required quality, efficiency and on-time requirements.

• Follow well-established design rules and practices.
• Work with manufacturing to help resolve production issues.
• Maintain thorough job file documentation.
• Check others’ work and make specific recommendations for fixes as well as improvements.
• Demonstrate and maintain the required quality, efficiency and on-time requirements.
  

Technical/Professional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Entry-level 3D CAD experience (NX experience preferred)
• Ability to organize a sequence of tasks on a project to meet commitment dates.
• Strong attention to detail and takes pride in producing quality designs.
• Fast learner, and able to listen and accept constructive feedback.
• Able to communicate well with others and convey ideas, both orally and written.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluids and stress analysis (mechanical skills).

Qualifications

• Education (Indicate required and/or preferred education for this job)
• BE/B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering required (or equivalent job-related experience)
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Mold Design with relevant experience.

Related Experience

• 2+ years of experience in Mechanical/Mold Design preferred.
