Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute production batches in line with commitments and cGMP guidance.
• Maintain proper gowning, PPE, entry/exit procedures in production.
• Ensure adherence to BMRs and departmental SOPs.
• Keep production area clean and compliant with safety standards.
• Review batch records before QA handover and support investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute production batches in line with targeted commitments while complying with cGMP and safety requirements.
• Ensure proper gowning practices, entry/exit procedures, and PPE usage within the production department.
• Ensure adherence to process instructions as per Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and departmental procedures.
• Maintain good housekeeping on the production shop floor.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, Safety, Health & Environment requirements.
• Review completed batch records for adequacy before handing them over to QA.
• Report deviations/incidents promptly and support investigations with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure accurate and timely online documentation, including proper correction, signature, and date requirements.
• Monitor the manufacturing environment and maintain daily log books.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and calibration activities are completed as scheduled.
• Ensure departmental sanitization activities are carried out.
• Support QA investigations related to OOS, Deviations, CAPA, Incidents, Complaints, Recalls and Validations.
• Ensure proper labeling, segregation, and storage of raw materials, intermediates, and APIs under recommended storage conditions.
• Ensure regular stock reconciliation.
• Perform other responsibilities assigned by the Production Head.
