Endpointclinical is seeking a Product Test Engineer with strong Playwright expertise to design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications in the pharma domain.

The candidate will collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and produce validation reports while guiding the testing team through project cycles.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in software testing/QA.
• Understanding of manual and automation testing concepts.
• Strong experience with Playwright.
• Familiarity with Java, C#, or TypeScript.
• Knowledge of web applications and how they work.
• Basic SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Graduation in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Product Test Engineer with expertise in Playwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for complex web applications. Experience in the pharmaceutical or clinical domain is a significant advantage. Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define quality requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Leverage BDD frameworks to create readable and maintainable test scenarios (e.g., using Cucumber, Spec Flow, or similar tools).
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with the development team to drive resolution.
• Contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable automatic test execution.
• Maintain detailed test documentation and report on test progress and outcomes.
• Responsible for testing through the entire lifecycle of a project, including test case development, execution and verification.
• Tracking and reporting software defects, along with verifying resolved issues in ticket tracking application.
• Assist in on‑going process improvement for test case management.
• Provide the project team with testing progress and continuous risk assessment during the Testing phase.
• Support validation efforts by acquiring evidence during testing phase, as well as generating validation reports at cycle end.
• Leads individual Projects and acts as the main point of contact / escalation for the testing team.
• Utilizes in-depth product knowledge to anticipate client needs and address complex issues.
• Provides guidance and sets priorities for the Test Engineer on project.
• Displays commitment to excellence.

Requirements

• 4-6 years’ experience working in software testing/ Quality Assurance
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts (manual & automation)
• Good experience in Playwright
• Familiarity with any programming language such as Java or C# or Typescript
• Basic knowledge of web applications and how they work
• Basic understanding of SQL and databases is an advantage
• Self-motivated, curious, and proactive attitude
• 4-6 years’ experience working in software testing/ Quality Assurance
• Completed graduation in Computer Science / Engineering or related field
