Job summary

Growth For Impact seeks an Environmental Compliance Engineer to help embed circular-economy principles into early product design and ensure global regulatory alignment. You will drive product-level carbon footprint assessments, oversee compliance matrices (RoHS, REACH, TSCA-like), and coordinate cross-functional teams to mitigate export-control risks.

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, Sustainability Sciences, International Business Law, or an equivalent technical field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in technical product compliance, material governance, or international export control within manufacturing or advanced technology sectors.
• Experience using industry-standard LCA software and working with established EPD program operators.
• Comprehensive knowledge of global regulatory frameworks including RoHS, REACH, CE/UKCA marking, and WEEE directives.
• Deep familiarity with customs protocols, dual-use evaluations, and international export classification matrices.
• Strong cross-functional project-management abilities, robust analytical capabilities, and skill in translating complex legal frameworks into actionable business practices.
