Job summary

MCO (MyComplianceOffice) in Hyderabad, India seeks an experienced Product Owner to bridge business, design and engineering in agile delivery of enterprise compliance solutions.

You will own the backlog, write user stories, validate designs, collaborate with architects, and guide releases across globally distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Domain knowledge in Capital Markets, Trade Surveillance, Anti-Money Laundering, or Data Analytics tools.
• Familiarity with AI product lifecycle, including model validation, user feedback loops, and ethical implications.
• Exposure to tools like OpenAI, Hugging Face, or Azure ML from a product integration perspective.
• Demonstrated leadership in innovation initiatives, such as generative AI prototypes, automation pilots, or internal product accelerators.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and microservices in SaaS ecosystems.
• Experience using product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA4) for KPI tracking and iteration planning.
• Knowledge of privacy and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2) and their implications on product decisions.
• Familiarity with BDD practices, including Gherkin-style acceptance criteria.
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps environments and their influence on delivery pipelines.
• Comfortable managing vendor integrations, particularly in regulated domains.
• CSPO certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Backlog Ownership: Manage the product backlog for one or more functional areas, ensuring prioritization aligns with strategic goals.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to define and document both functional and non-functional requirements.
• User Story Development: Translate requirements into detailed user stories with clear, testable acceptance criteria suitable for 2-week sprint delivery.
• Design Validation: Work closely with the Design team to ensure stories meet user expectations and support intuitive user experiences.
• Technical Collaboration: Participate in grooming sessions and support task breakdowns and estimations with engineering.
• Solution Prototyping: Contribute to the ideation and prototyping of new features and enhancements.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and technically adept Product Owner (TPO) to join our expanding Product Management team. This is a critical role in the agile delivery of complex, enterprise-grade compliance solutions. You will act as the bridge between business, design, and engineering - owning the product backlog and driving the delivery of features that align with business outcomes and user needs. You will be involved in everything from requirements gathering and story writing to solution design and customer documentation.

Job requirements:

• 8-12 years of experience in Product Management or Product Owner roles in large global, multinational SaaS or enterprise environments.
• Proven success delivering products built on Java, data-driven architectures, and APIs.
• Experience delivering or supporting AI/ML-powered features, such as intelligent alerts, predictive analytics, or NLP-driven workflows.
• Strong understanding of AI-enhanced user experiences, and ability to write product requirements that align AI capabilities with business value.
• Demonstrated success working in product-driven SaaS environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across technical and business audiences.
• Proficient in writing clear, testable user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Skilled in wireframing, data modeling (ERDs), SQL, and API integration.
• Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
• Effective in both independent work and cross-functional collaboration within fast-paced, agile environments.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and project management practices.
