Job summary

Lawman is seeking a detail-oriented Product Merchandiser to oversee product planning, range development, merchandising activities, and coordination with design, sourcing, production, and sales teams to ensure timely availability of products as per market demand.

You will monitor trends, manage inventory, track development timelines, support costing and pricing, and generate MIS reports to optimize assortments and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Product Planning: Plan product ranges, styles, categories, and seasonal collections based on market trends and business requirements.
• Market Research: Analyze market trends, customer preferences, competitor products, and pricing to identify new product opportunities.
• Range Development: Coordinate with design for product development, fabric selection, colors, fits, trims, and styling.
• Sales Analysis: Monitor product performance, sales trends, stock availability, and sell-through to optimize product assortment.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with design, sourcing, production, quality, and sales teams to ensure smooth product development and execution.
• Costing & Pricing: Coordinate product costing, margin analysis, and pricing to meet business and profitability targets.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, slow-moving products, and inventory requirements to maintain optimum stock availability.
• Order & Delivery Tracking: Track product development timelines, purchase orders, production status, and delivery schedules.
• MIS & Reporting: Prepare regular reports on product performance, sales, inventory, and merchandising activities.
