Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with specialized expertise in Vendor Management Systems (VMS) to create roadmap, build specifications, lead and train cross-functional teams. The candidate will play a pivotal role in defining the product roadmap, working closely with stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in VMS domain, a strategic mindset, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product roadmap for the core VMS modules, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
• Work with client to understand their vision and strategy to develop the MVP product while understanding the long terms needs.
• Conduct targeted training sessions on VMS functionalities, processes, and configurations for team members.
• Work closely with stakeholders, including clients, business analysts, and engineering teams, to gather requirements and translate them into actionable product specifications.
• Support the development team by providing clear requirements, prioritizing backlogs, and ensuring efficient execution.
• Lead the development and enhancement of MVP modules (Req-to-Cheque and SOW), ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.
• Identify and address risks, gaps, and dependencies that may impact product success.
• Establish strong relationships with clients to understand their needs, educate them on product capabilities, and proactively guide them toward effective solutions.
• Drive data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytics and market research to refine product features and strategy.
• Collaborate with leadership and business teams to define KPIs and measure product success.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in VMS domain trends, compliance (GDPR, HIPAA), and best practices.
• Develop a comprehensive training roadmap, helping the team integrate VMS tools for Talent Pooling, Direct Sourcing, and Service Procurement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Product Manager in the Vendor Management System (VMS) domain.
• Strong understanding of VMS functionalities, including Req-to-Cheque, SOW, procurement, and contingent workforce management.
• Experience in defining and executing product roadmaps for enterprise SaaS solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Expertise in agile development methodologies and working with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, and other regulatory compliance in the VMS space.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, or other product management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with VMS integration into larger ERP or HRIS systems.
• Experience in staffing, procurement, or workforce management platforms.
• Understanding of AI, automation, and analytics in VMS solutions.
• Prior experience in as enterprise SaaS environment.
• Strong business acumen with a passion for solving customer pain points.
