The Insurance and Assurance team at Airtel Payments Bank plays a pivotal role in offering comprehensive financial protection through a range of products. They provide Life Insurance for personal security, General Insurance covering Motor and Property Insurance, and Health Insurance for well-being. Job Overview:

The product team at Airtel Payments Bank is a highly motivated, forward thinking team comprised of highly talented product managers with a singular focus of delivering innovative products. As a product manager, you will spearhead the advancement of our feature roadmap by measuring customer adoption, feedback, and satisfaction to guide future of the product. Your pivotal role within our team of accomplished product managers will elevate our innovation trajectory within our current range of products.

Key Responsibilities :

This role will comprise of

• User Centric Mindset: You will be responsible for understanding customer needs as well as stay on top of the customer pulse via secondary insights - both qualitative and quantitative. Should have Capability to translate user feedback into actionable insights for product development.
• Product Vision & Strategy: Should have ability to define both long-term strategy and quarterly roadmap to achieve the product vision and create impact. Product enhancement with a problem first, data-driven, and test & iterate approach.
• Product Development Life Cycle: Should have strong understanding of stages that a product goes through from concept to market launch & beyond.
• Ecosystem collaboration: Self-starter to collaborate closely with ecosystem players to co-build products that don’t exist. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, and marketing, and risk, compliance) to develop and launch new card products. Assist in fostering relationships with key stakeholders within the organization to ensure smooth product development.
• Market Research & Analysis - Conduct in-depth market research to understand user needs, industry trends, and regulatory landscape for payments in India.
• Tech Know-how - Strong knowledge of engineering practices in product development using Agile / Scrum principles
• Data-driven decision making – You will be responsible in using data and analytics to guide decisions about product development , enhancement and in deciding overall strategy of the product

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• 2-5 years on Product Management & MBA from top schools IIMs, ISB, FMS, MDI, etc. with a technical background preferred
• Proficiency in product management tools (JIRA , Excel , SQL etc)
• Passion for understanding customer needs and demonstrated ability to build digital products
• Ability to think strategically while still comfortable diving into the details required to ensure successful execution
