ABOUTTHE ROLE
As ProductManager for Insight, you will own the strategy and roadmap for Innefu's OSINTcapabilities — spanning social media monitoring, web and dark web intelligence, geospatial correlation, and multi-source entity resolution. You'll translatethe operational needs of intelligence and law enforcement analysts intotechnically precise product requirements, while ensuring every capability holdsup to scrutiny on data provenance, legality, and evidentiary reliability. Thisrole sits between engineering, data science, and government clients — equallycomfortable in a room of senior investigators and in a sprint planning sessionwith ML engineers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the roadmap for Insight's OSINTcapabilities — social media monitoring, web/forum intelligence, dark webmonitoring, geospatial correlation, and entity/link resolution.
- Benchmark against global OSINT andintelligence platforms — Maltego, SpiderFoot, Shodan, Palantir Gotham, IBM i2 —to identify gaps and differentiation.
- Define the product vision in alignment withevolving law enforcement and intelligence agency needs; prioritize byinvestigative impact, technical feasibility, and legal defensibility.
Technical Ownership
- Write precise PRDs, user stories, andfunctional specifications for OSINT collection, processing, and correlationpipelines that engineering can execute without ambiguity.
- Maintain working knowledge of web scraping, social media platform APIs (and their rate-limit/ToS constraints), dark web(Tor-based) collection methods, entity resolution and link analysis via graphdatabases (Neo4j, Gephi), geolocation extraction from social content, andreverse image/video verification.
- Define data source integration standards —social platforms, public records, news/media feeds, forums, marketplaces — andmanage API contracts for third-party data providers.
- Evaluate and recommend third-party OSINTtools, datasets, and AI models to enhance platform capabilities.
Data & AI Product Management
- Partner with Data Science/AI teams onmulti-lingual NLP (regional Indian languages and social media vernacular),sentiment and narrative analysis, misinformation/deepfake detection, andpredictive pattern or network analysis.
- Define model performance benchmarks for entityextraction, language coverage, and source-reliability scoring.
- Ensure AI-driven OSINT outputs remainexplainable and auditable, particularly where they may support legal orevidentiary use.
Execution & Delivery
- Run Agile/Scrum delivery in closecollaboration with Engineering, QA, and DevOps; own a well-groomed backlog withclear, estimated, prioritized items.
- Define and track KPIs — source coverage, collection latency, entity resolution accuracy, false-positive rates, andsystem uptime.
- Manage UAT with agency clients and ensuredefect resolution before production deployment.
Compliance, Security &Ethics
- Ensure OSINT collection and processingcomplies with agency-specific classification requirements.
- Define and enforce data provenance, minimization, and audit-trail standards for every OSINT source.
- Champion responsible-AI practices — addressingbias in inference, source-reliability grading, and clear boundaries around whatqualifies as “open source.”
- Maintain RBAC, end-to-end encryption, andaudit logging across the platform.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary product interface withgovernment and law enforcement clients on OSINT workflows and requirements.
- Support Sales and Pre-Sales with RFPresponses, product demonstrations, and client presentations.
- Communicate roadmap, release timelines, andproduct updates to senior leadership and client-side stakeholders.
