Job summary

UST is seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner for our Payment Gateway solutions in Pune, Maharashtra. You will drive product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization, working closely with engineering, QA, design, and operations to deliver secure payment features.

You will define requirements, write epics and stories, and manage the backlog while ensuring regulatory and security standards are met. 5+ years in similar roles are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product Management or Technical Product Ownership roles.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with payment gateway systems, payment processors, or fintech products.
• Experience managing complex, regulated software products.
• Background in B2B SaaS or enterprise software preferred.

Job Description: Technical Product Owner - Payment Gateway Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner with deep expertise in Payment Gateway systems to lead the product strategy, development, and delivery of our payment solutions. This role combines product management acumen with good technical knowledge to bridge the gap between business objectives, customer needs, and engineering teams.

• Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for payment gateway solutions
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on business impact, customer feedback, and technical feasibility
• Ensure alignment between product strategy and organizational goals Requirements & Backlog Management
• Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements from stakeholders
• Create and maintain a well-prioritized product backlog with clear acceptance criteria
• Write epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria with sufficient technical depth
• Manage scope and prevent scope creep through effective negotiation with business and technical teams Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner closely with Engineering, QA, Design, and Operations teams to ensure successful delivery
• Act as the single point of contact for product decisions and trade-offs
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
