Job summary

Google is seeking a Product Manager for Google Cloud Security, based in India, to lead security-focused cloud products from concept to launch. You will guide cross-functional teams including engineering and marketing to shape secure cloud solutions at scale.

You will define roadmaps, analyze user needs, and translate complex security requirements into practical product plans while mentoring less-experienced teammates and driving cross-functional alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
• 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1).
• 2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within security, privacy, or a related area.

Responsibilities

• Be experienced for setting up and trying out cloud products, to better understand and arrive at opportunity areas.
• Generate high-level insights from formative research, market gaps or technical insights to arrive at product requirements.
• Understand complex technologies and customer use cases to arrive at insights for driving customer experience with Google cloud products.
• Be the customer advocate, understand needs, and pain points in the hybrid cloud space to influence technical priorities and business strategy.
• Engage closely with the Engineering team to help determine the right technology solution and a reasonable implementation schedule.
