Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a mid-level Product Manager for Cloud Security to guide products from conception to launch. You will partner with engineering, design, and legal to craft a security-first roadmap and translate market needs into actionable requirements.

You will own end-to-end product delivery for Cloud Protection Platform and related security offerings, aligning with enterprise customers, setting clear goals, and driving execution across teams in Bengaluru or Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
• 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, 0 to 1).
• 2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within security, privacy, or a related area.

Responsibilities

• Be experienced for setting up and trying out cloud products, to better understand and arrive at opportunity areas.
• Generate high-level insights from formative research, market gaps or technical insights to arrive at product requirements.
• Understand complex technologies and customer use cases to arrive at insights for driving customer experience with Google cloud products.
• Be the customer advocate, understand needs, and pain points in the hybrid cloud space to influence technical priorities and business strategy.
• Engage closely with the Engineering team to help determine the right technology solution and a reasonable implementation schedule.
