About The Role
Job Title: Product Manager - Core Platform & Infrastructure
Reporting to: Group Product Manager
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: 5+ years
As a Product Manager for Core Infrastructure at Sibros, you aren't just managing a backlog - you are the architect of the foundational pipeline that connects vehicles to the cloud. You will sit at the intersection of embedded automotive systems, distributed cloud computing, and business strategy. We are looking for a highly technical product leader who can navigate the complex, high-stakes landscape of modern vehicle architectures. You will own the core platforms that orchestrate flawless over-the-air (OTA) updates, secure remote diagnostics, and resilient vehicle‑to‑cloud data ingestion, transforming complex technical constraints into a highly reliable, scalable enterprise platform.
Responsibilities
- Own the Core Vehicle-to-Cloud Pipeline: Lead the full product lifecycle for our foundational infrastructure products, including OTA orchestration engines and remote command delivery. Ensure this core platform acts as a rock-solid, extensible foundation that reliably powers all downstream applications built on top of it.
- Optimize Value Delivery: Ruthlessly prioritize the platform backlog. Make the hard trade‑off decisions between technical debt, architectural scalability, security compliance, and OEM feature requests to maximize platform ROI.
- Define System Boundaries and APIs: Partner closely with Embedded, Cloud, and Security Engineering to define robust APIs, data contracts, and platform abstractions that allow Sibros to integrate seamlessly into diverse OEM vehicle architectures.
- Drive Platform Reliability & Scale: Define and track critical platform KPIs such as OTA success rates, command latency, system uptime, and use technical discovery to address architectural bottlenecks proactively.
- Autonomous Decision-Making: Act as the primary authority for your platform infrastructure domain, synthesizing deeply technical constraints and market requirements into a clear, prioritized roadmap without requiring day-to-day tactical guidance.
- Cross-Functional Technical Leadership: Interface with Business Development, Solutions Architecture, and Engineering to translate complex OEM infrastructure requirements into scalable, platform-agnostic solutions that serve diverse vehicle segments.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Product Management experience in high-growth environments, with a proven track record of delivering deeply technical platform products, infrastructure, or middleware at scale.
- Strong understanding of the vehicle architecture ecosystem, including telemetry, automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet), and diagnostic standards (UDS, SOVD).
- Experience managing backend or platform products that bridge embedded edge environments and distributed cloud infrastructure. Design with the entire ecosystem in mind.
- History of making high‑stakes technical decisions independently, navigating ambiguity, and establishing clear technical directions in a fast‑paced environment.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex architectural constraints and infrastructure concepts into strategic business value for executive stakeholders and OEM partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with functional safety (ISO 26262), automotive cybersecurity (ISO 21434).
- Background in Embedded Software, Cloud Systems Architecture, or Systems Engineering.
- Experience building developer‑facing tools, SDKs, or highly flexible APIs used by third-party enterprise engineering groups.
Benefits
- Competitive compensation package with performance incentives.
- A dynamic work environment with a flat hierarchy and the opportunity for rapid career advancement.
- Access to continuous learning and development opportunities.
- Flexible working hours to accommodate different time zones.
- Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and wellness programs.
- A culture that values innovation and promotes a work‑life balance.
