Job summary

JSW One Finance Limited in Mumbai seeks an hands-on AI-native product builder to prototype flows and features end-to-end, before engineers join, ensuring working artifacts instead of documents.

You will own an origination/servicing surface and the AI layer across it, driving automation in credit workflows and data-driven decisions. This role partners across engineering, credit, risk, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years building 0-to-1 products at a funded startup or fintech you have shipped.
• Fluent in AI-native building; you prototype, analyze, and ship using AI tools daily.
• Strong systems and data instincts; you reason about data models, APIs, and integration flows.
• Hunger to go deep on credit and lending domain, and learn fast.

Responsibilities

• Own an origination or servicing surface end to end — discovery, spec, build, UAT, go-live, and iteration.
• Develop the AI layer across that surface: CAM automation from manual to assisted to autonomous.
• Document and financial statement AI — extraction, reconciliation, and analytics.
• Underwriting copilots — decision-support for credit and risk; transcript and portfolio analytics.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Build, not just brief. Prototype flows and AI features yourself with modern tooling (Cursor, Claude, Lovable, n8n) before a single engineer is assigned so specs arrive as working artifacts, not documents.


• Go deep on the stack. Work directly in workflow logic, rule engines, data structures, and integrations bureau (CIBIL / Experian / CRIF), KYC / eKYC, account aggregator, bank-statement analysis, e-sign, e-NACH, payment gateways.


• Ship reliable, compliant features. Own quality end to end data accuracy across the origination pipeline, edge cases, reconciliation, and go-live readiness on a system the whole org depends on.


• Partner across functions. Work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering, credit, risk, operations, compliance, and external vendors as a technical peer, not a coordinator.


• Push the AI frontier for lending. Identify where AI collapses turnaround time, cost, and error and build it.

Must-have

• 3-5 years building 0-to-1 products at a funded startup or fintech you have shipped something real into the hands of real people


• Fluent in AI-native building you use AI tools daily to prototype, analyze, and ship; you think in agents, prompts, and pipelines


• Strong systems and data instincts comfortable with data models, APIs, and integration flows; you reason about the whole system, not just the ticket


• Hunger to go deep on credit you want to master the lending domain, and you learn fast

Nice-to-have

• Exposure to lending / NBFC / LOS / LMS or collections systems


• Familiarity with RBI regulatory requirements for NBFCs


• Experience with lending-tech stacks


• Experience in secured lending (LAP, MSME loans)
