Job summary

SMIFS is seeking a Product Manager – Business Support to drive product strategy and support growth in AIF, PMS, and Mutual Funds. You will work with Wealth Management to acquire new business, manage stakeholders across Sales, Investments, Risk, Operations and Compliance, and launch scalable investment solutions.

Ideal candidates have 4–8 years in product management or strategy, with deep knowledge of investment products and regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in Product Management / Product Strategy, preferably in Alternative Investment Fund, PMS, MF, or Asset Management.
• Strong understanding of investment products, markets, and the regulatory environment.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong liaison skills to work effectively across internal teams, external partners, and regulators.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are looking for a Product Manager – Business Support to manage and support products such as Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), Portfolio Management Services (PMS), and Mutual Funds (MF).

The role will focus on product strategy, market intelligence, stakeholder coordination, and supporting the Wealth Management team in business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own the Product Vision

• Define and drive product strategy aligned with market trends and investor needs.

2. Build & Enhance Products

• Work cross-functionally to launch and scale innovative AIF, PMS, and Mutual Fund solutions.

3. Market Intelligence

• Track market, competitor, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with Sales, Investments, Risk, Operations, and Compliance teams for seamless execution.

5. Support Business Growth

• Work closely with Wealth Managers (WM) to acquire new business and expand AUM through compelling product propositions and pitch support.
