You won't start with a roadmap. You'll start by sitting with real users, in person, not on Zoom, watching what's broken in their day. Then you'll ship. In weeks, not quarters. Every launch gets a verdict. Did the problem actually get solved? If yes, go deeper. If not, figure out why and make it work. No pivoting to the next feature because it's shinier. You'll work with AI when the problem demands it. What to build matters infinitely more than sprinkling AI on top. Cross-functional squad. Engg, design, analytics, ops. No layers.

Requirements

• PMs who would be a good fit -
• Have taken a product from shipped to actually working. Multiple times.
• Measure outcomes ("escalation rate dropped 30%"), not activity ("wrote 150 user stories").
• Let user proximity drive decisions, not frameworks.
• Can tell you WHY something worked or didn't. Not just that it shipped.
• PMs who won't -
• Lead with roadmaps, stakeholder alignment, and planning rituals.
• Haven't worked on a problem long enough, have a trail of v1's that don't work
