METRO Global Solution Center India is seeking a Solution Expert for Own Brand Product Development to support operation, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of business applications. You will serve as SME for assigned capabilities, translating business needs into scalable solutions and coordinating with developers and external providers.

• Proven expertise as an application or solution expert in a tech setup.

• Support the Own Brand Product Development Squad in the operation, continuousimprovementand lifecycle management of business applications;
• Act as the subject matter expert for assigned business capabilities and applications, ensuring stable operations and continuous value delivery;
• Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, translating business needs into solution improvements and coordinating their implementation;
• Collaborate closely with business users,developersand external service providers to deliver high-quality, customer-centric solutions;
• Drive continuous improvement byidentifyingopportunities tooptimizeprocesses, simplify ways ofworkingand enhance user experience;
• Evaluate and introduce innovative technologies and modern ways of working, including AI-enabled capabilities whereappropriate;
• Foster strong partnerships with stakeholders across business and IT, acting as a trusted advisor and driving adoption ofnew solutions;
• Contribute to the product roadmap byidentifyingimprovement opportunities and helping prioritize initiatives based on business value.

Job Description

Your Responsibilities:

• Understand the capabilities and limitations of the specific solution or platform;
• Responsible for functional design within the defined solution scope;
• Jointly with the team and depending on system complexity, configure, customize, andoptimizesolutions according to business and technical requirements and platform architectureguidance;
• Recommend best practices and design patterns within the respective squad or platform;
• Act as the bridge between business needs and technical execution by interpreting businessprocesses and embedding them into platform configurations and solution design, together with the development teams;
• Validate that the implemented solution aligns with business processes, compliance requirements,and governance standards;
• Assistin implementation, integration, and testing of the solution(Technologies);
• Provide training and guidance to users or technical teams;
• Stayup-to-datewith latest product updates, releases, and features. In the case of external solutions,this is subject to the condition that employees are given access to relevant information and training;
• Advise on solution roadmap and upgrade paths;
• Helpoptimizeperformance, scalability, and reliability of the deployed solution via continuousimprovements;
• Coordinate across squads, is SPOC for countries and leads harmonization of solution
• Support with problem analysis;
• Provides consultancy onsolutionfor overarching projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

Required key competencies and qualifications:

• Provenexpertiseand relevant work experience asapplication or solution expertin a tech setup (multinational or startup);
• Good analytical skills - you know how to ask the right questions and how to summarize everything in one picture;
• Having the ability to turn complex concepts into simple language and vice versa;
• Experience in managingstakeholdersrelations, preparing and conducting presentations and briefing your teams (Dev, Support, QA);
• Being able to manage andfacilitatecommunication in a challenging,complexand international work environment;
• Mastering strategic business process modeling, traceability, linking of dependent tasks, and quality management techniques;
• Very goodfluency in English (written and verbal).
