Paytm Payments Services in India is seeking a hands-on Product Manager to own cross-border payments strategy, roadmap, and execution, from PRDs to launch and post-launch analytics.

You should have 6+ years in PM, 3–4+ years in FinTech, deep understanding of payment systems, regulatory compliance, and strong collaboration with engineering. Experience with AI/ML capabilities is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product management with a track record of shipping at scale.
• 3–4+ years in FinTech, Payments, or Financial Services; cross-border exposure preferred.
• Solid understanding of payment systems: processors, FX engines, settlement mechanics, SWIFT/local rails, reconciliation.
• Hands-on with PRDs, sprints, and working directly with engineering in an agile setup.
• Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks (AML/KYC, sanctions screening, licensing) in cross-border context.
• Clear communicator who can write a spec, present to leadership, and align cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Competitive benchmarking across the cross-border landscape to inform roadmap and positioning

About the Role

We’re looking for a Product Manager to own cross-border payments end-to-end - strategy, roadmap, execution, and iteration. This is a hands-on PM role: you write PRDs, run sprints, dig into data, and ship. You need to understand how money moves internationally - FX, settlement, compliance rails and be comfortable using AI to push product capabilities forward.

• Solid understanding of payment systems: payment processors, FX engines, settlement mechanics, SWIFT/local rails, reconciliation
• Hands-on with PRDs, sprints, and working directly with engineering in an agile setup
• Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks (AML/KYC, sanctions screening, licensing) in cross-border context
• Clear communicator who can write a spec, present to leadership, and align cross-functional teams

Good to Have

• Shipped or contributed to products leveraging AI/ML (intelligent routing, risk scoring, dynamic pricing, LLM-based ops automation)
• Corridor-level understanding-why US→India behaves differently from UK→Nigeria (liquidity, partner rails, settlement windows)
• Design sensibility—can critique a wireframe and push back when UX doesn’t serve the user
• Technical fluency—can read an API spec, discuss schema trade-offs, understand event-driven architectures
