Puma India is seeking a Product Intern for the Sport-style Apparels and Basketball BU. Based in Bengaluru, the role offers hands-on exposure to Buying & Merchandising and opportunities to contribute to live business projects in the global sportswear and fashion industry.

You will work with the Buyer, support day-to-day operations, analyze data, assist in competitor research and trend mapping, and coordinate with design, retail, planning and marketing teams.

• Current student or recent graduate in Fashion Management, Business, Retail, or related Fields.
• Interest in sports, fashion, and lifestyle with awareness of the latest industry trends.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication for cross-team collaboration.

Position Title: Product Intern

Position Summary: For Sport-style Apparels and Basketball BU to join our team at Puma India. This role will provide hands-on exposure to the fast-paced world of Buying & Merchandising, giving an opportunity to learn and contribute meaningfully to live business projects in the global sportswear and fashion industry.

Duration: 3 months (We can extended the internship if needed)

Reports to: Lead -Category Management (Performance - Running, Training, Teamsport, Basketball & Golf)

Key Objectives:

• To work directly with the Buyer to support expediting day-to-day operations such as large-scale data handling (collect & organize) for business analysis, reporting, order placements and tracking deliveries for EBOs and EC channel.
• Assist in competitor research, trend mapping, and market analysis
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (design, retail, planning, marketing)
• Maintain documentation, reports, and databases with accuracy and attention to detail.

Eligibility Criteria And Functional Competencies Required:

Hard Skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic data analysis).
• Working knowledge of PowerPoint for presentations.
• Basic understanding of fashion/retail business and consumer trends.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Communication skills (written and verbal) for cross-team collaboration.
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a dynamic environment.
