Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or product finance at a high-growth technology company.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Understanding of SaaS business models and cloud/software infrastructure economics.
  • Strong SQL and BigQuery skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • An AI-first mindset, including active use of AI tools to automate analysis, draft models, and speed up research.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product and Engineering leaders on investment decisions, roadmap prioritization, and resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain models for new products, AI usage economics, and infrastructure cost forecasting.
  • Analyze product-level revenue performance, customer adoption trends, and margin drivers.
  • Support pricing, packaging, and monetization analysis for SaaS and AI consumption-based offerings.
  • Develop dashboards and KPI reporting for leadership reviews and operating cadences.
  • Work with GTM and Revenue Operations on customer profitability and expansion analysis.
  • Lead annual planning, forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Build cost-per-query models for LLM and cloud infrastructure spend and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Improve financial processes, reporting automation, and decision‑making frameworks.

About the Role

Glean is hiring a Product Finance Analyst to support product decisions that have direct financial impact, including AI infrastructure costs and consumption-based pricing. The role exists to bring structure and analysis to investment decisions, pricing and monetization, unit economics, and long-range planning as the business scales its AI and product offerings. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, GTM, Revenue Operations, and Leadership to turn product strategy into financial insight. The role is focused on helping teams prioritize roadmap investments, understand revenue and margin drivers, and improve forecasting and decision‑making. This is a hybrid position based in Bangalore, with four days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Additional SQL familiarity and basic scripting for large‑dataset analysis and data‑driven decision making.
  • Startup or high‑growth SaaS experience with end‑to‑end financial modeling ownership.
