Haleon in Bangalore, India is seeking a Senior SAP Ariba Specialist to own the SOX-compliant product operations and drive the Indirect Procurement strategy across the Ariba platform. You will define controls, manage audits, and coordinate with Tech, HR, Procurement and Finance to optimize value and compliance.

About the role SAP Ariba is Haleon’s global solution for Indirect Procurement management. As a Product Expert for SAP Ariba within Digital & Technology, you will be responsible for keeping the applications SOX compliant and defining, implementing, and optimizing our Indirect buying strategy across Haleon, in line with the priorities of our business teams and maximizing value for money over the lifecycle of the product. In support of a SOx-relevant (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) application, this role is also pivotal in ensuring we comply with SOx requirements by embedding robust control frameworks into product operations – this may span designing and implementing controls to overseeing training, audit readiness, and continuous improvement. This SOx Compliance ensures our financial reporting applications are secure, reliable, and auditable - minimising risk and supporting regulatory integrity. You will join our Corporate Applications Technology team, reporting directly to the D&T Head of Indirect Procurement.

Minimum 8+ years’ experience with SAP Ariba, including configuration, integration, and administration. Strong experience with SAP Ariba modules such as Buying and Guided Buying and Ariba Business Network and APIs. Experience with SAP ECC and S4/HANA, especially HR Mini Master and integrations with Ariba Deep understanding of Procurement management, vendor management systems, and Buying processes. Strong experience of designing and/or operating SOx controls. Experience of working with compliance and control frameworks, and of preparing for and supporting application audits (internal and external) Proven track record in SaaS product management, solution design, and delivery, ideally in a global or multi-country environment. Experience working with and managing third-party service providers and software vendors. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience in designing secure, robust interfaces. SAP Ariba certification and/or SAP Procurement related certifications are a plus. Experience of VIM invoice management is a plus.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field. Experience supporting change management and user adoption initiatives. Exposure to Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies. Experience working with diverse, cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.
