Job Overview
Responsible to perform Mechanical Engineering tasks in the Screens and Centrifuge product line. These activities may be part of project work or development work. The responsibilities include the execution of a complete project consisting of all mechanical aspects of equipment that is on time, on budget, to specification and with quality.
Responsibilities
- Apply mechanical engineering principles to develop products such as vibrating screens, vibrating feeders, and centrifuges.
- Advise on appropriate solutions, equipment, or products proposed for client needs.
- Participate in design work and product customization.
- Assist operations in resolving manufacturing challenges and implementing cost‑effective sourcing strategies.
- Troubleshoot complex manufacturing and on‑site issues.
- Tailor technical solutions to meet specific project requirements and customer needs.
- Stay informed about competitor products, market trends, and client needs to adapt product functionality effectively.
- Develop systems and methodologies to prevent or minimize technical issues, aiming to enhance product performance.
- Represent and support both global and regional interests while ensuring compliance with FLS guidelines.
- Actively contribute to a collaborative team environment to achieve team objectives.
- Travel as needed to engage with customers and suppliers for technical discussions, inspections, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and PLM systems (preferably Enovia).
- In‑depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and global quality standards.
- Capable of collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams to develop effective solutions to problems or design challenges.
- Prior experience with vibrating equipment is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from a reputed university.
- Over 5+ years of experience in designing industrial equipment.
