Job summary

Zymo Cosmetics in Ahmedabad is seeking a proactive Product Development Coordinator to align R&D, marketing, QA, regulatory and procurement across all development stages. You will organize formulations, specifications, approvals, regulatory documents, and packaging records, while coordinating with packaging suppliers and vendors to drive launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cosmetic science, pharmacy, chemistry, biotechnology, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in cosmetics, personal care, FMCG, or product development coordination.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of cosmetic regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Strong documentation, organization, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate R&D, marketing, QA, regulatory and procurement to align product development stages.
• Ensure smooth information flow between teams to prevent delays.
• Prepare and maintain product development documentation (formulations, specs, approvals, regulatory docs, packaging records).
• Identify and research new packaging and vendors with the purchase team.
• Perform packaging feasibility assessments with R&D and production.
• Research innovative product concepts, ingredient trends, and market opportunities for the D2C segment.
• Coordinate with branding, design agencies, and packaging suppliers for development and execution.
• Evaluate product samples, document observations, and coordinate trials.
• Coordinate with CRO and consumer insight agencies to collect user feedback.
• Maintain project trackers and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely launches.
