Job summary

RegASK is seeking a Product Designer to join our Product & Design team. You will deliver high-quality design work using traditional tools, AI-assisted workflows, or a mix of both, and grow into broader ownership over time.

You will collaborate with the Director of Product Design and Senior Designer on feature delivery, interface design, prototyping, and design system maintenance across RegASK’s product suite, in a cross-functional team with a three-month release cadence.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years professional product or UX design in a SaaS or digital product environment.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, variants, and prototyping.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted design and prototyping tools to accelerate workflow.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and front-end constraints.
• Solid grasp of UX fundamentals: user flows, IA, interaction patterns, accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Design screens, flows, and prototypes meeting RegASK’s design standards using Figma or AI-assisted tools.
• Translate briefs into clean, precise, high-fidelity UI.
• Build functional prototypes to validate concepts and communicate interaction intent.
• Cover edge cases and ensure handoff to engineering is complete.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers in a cross-functional team.

Position Overview - Product Designer

We are looking for a Product Designer with 2‑3 years of experience to join our Product & Design team. This role is for someone who delivers high‑quality design work, whether through traditional design tools, AI‑assisted workflows, or a combination of both, and who is excited to grow into broader ownership over time.

You will work closely with our Director of Product Design and Senior Product Designer, contributing to feature delivery, interface design, prototyping, and design system maintenance across RegASK’s product suite. You will be embedded in a cross‑functional team that ships on a three‑month release cadence, working alongside product managers and engineers.

This is not a solo role, you will have direction and support from experienced designers. But you will have real ownership of the work you are assigned, and we expect an understanding of customer pain points, business priorities, and cross‑functional context, along with attention to detail and a genuine commitment to getting things right.

Responsibilities

Design Execution & Prototyping

• Create screens, flows, and prototypes that meet RegASK’s design standards, using Figma, AI‑assisted tools, or the approach that gets you to high‑quality outputs efficiently
• Translate briefs and direction into clean, precise, high‑fidelity UI
• Build functional prototypes to validate concepts and communicate interaction intent
• Cover edge cases thoroughly (empty states, error states, loading states, and responsive behaviour) so handoff to engineering is complete
• Iterate quickly based on design review feedback

Design System Contribution

• Apply existing components from the RegASK design system correctly and consistently
• Contribute new components and variants when directed, following established naming conventions and documentation standards
• Flag inconsistencies or gaps in the design system and propose solutions

Collaboration & Delivery

• Participate in sprint ceremonies including planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Prepare clean, well‑organised design files for engineering handoff, with accurate specs, annotations, and interaction notes
• Review implemented UI against designs and flag inconsistencies during QA
• Work with engineers to resolve design implementation questions during build
• Communicate clearly when priorities conflict or timelines are at risk

Requirements

• Experience & Skills

• 2‑3 years of professional product or UX design experience in a SaaS or digital product environment
• Strong proficiency in Figma, including components, auto‑layout, variants, and prototyping
• Comfortable using AI‑assisted design and prototyping tools to accelerate your workflow
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and front‑end development constraints
• Solid grasp of UX fundamentals: user flows, information architecture, interaction patterns, and accessibility basics

Nice-to-Haves

• Exposure to SaaS products, enterprise tools, or compliance/regulatory software
• Familiarity with data‑dense interface patterns: dashboards, tables, filters, complex forms
• Experience working with an established, token‑based design system
