Job summary

Coram AI is building an AI-native video security platform and seeks a Product Designer to own end-to-end experience design for security and operations teams. You’ll translate live video, detections, and multi-site workflows into intuitive interfaces, partnering with PMs and engineers from concept to production.

The role emphasizes rapid shipping in an early-stage, high-impact environment, with ownership of design systems and cross‑functional collaboration with security and IT stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer for B2B SaaS.
• Showcase end-to-end design execution with strong UI systems.
• Experience with complex data-dense apps and AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the product design process from discovery to high-fidelity design and handoff.
• Design workflows for AI-enabled video security features and operations.
• Build and maintain a design system and component library in Figma.
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers; iterate from concepts to production.

The role:

As a Product Designer at Coram AI, you’ll design the end-to-end experience for an AI-native video security platform used by security and operations teams to monitor, investigate, and respond to real-world incidents. You’ll turn complex workflows (live video, AI detections, multi-site operations, access control, and incident response) into intuitive, high-confidence product experiences.

You’ll have significant ownership from day one: partnering closely with product managers and engineers, speaking directly with customers, and taking work from early concepts through polished, production-ready designs. This is a high-impact role for a systems-minded designer who enjoys solving technically complex B2B problems, building scalable design foundations, and shipping quickly in an early-stage environment.

Responsibilities:

• Own the product design process from early customer discovery and wireframing to high-fidelity visual design, interactive prototyping, and developer handoff
• Design workflows for natural language video search, custom AI alert setup, interactive camera walls, and incident deep-dive investigations
• Streamline critical operations like multi-site security oversight, role-based access control, visitor management, and emergency response coordination
• Build, expand, and maintain Coram AI’s UI component library and design system in Figma to ensure speed, accessibility, and visual consistency across desktop and mobile
• Talk directly with security operators, IT directors, and facility leaders to understand workflows, iterate on user feedback, and validate design solutions
• Collaborate daily with PMs and front-end/AI engineers in a fast‑paced, high-ship‑velocity environment

Skills and qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer, with a proven track record building complex B2B SaaS platforms, data-dense web applications, or AI tools
• Clear case studies demonstrating end-to-end design execution, complex problem solving, high visual polish, and systemic UI thinking
• Expertise in component architecture, autolayout, prototyping, and design system governance
• Ability to understand technical constraints surrounding live-video streams, real‑time telemetry, and AI detection models to design viable, elegant solutions
• Thrives in early-to-growth stage environments; proactive, self‑directed, and capable of executing independently with minimal guidance
• Prior design experience in video management (VMS), IoT monitoring, cybersecurity, hardware/software hybrid platforms, or developer/AI tooling is a plus
• Familiarity with front‑end code (HTML/CSS/React/Tailwind) or mobile application design is a plus
• Experience designing for high‑urgency, critical‑incident UI scenarios (e.g., dispatch centers, emergency response tools, operational control rooms) is a plus
