Job description

Job Description:

This role is for one of the Weekdays clients

Min Experience: 5+ years

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
JobType: full-time

What youll do:

• Own product design end-to-end: research, flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and design QA after it ships
• Design interfaces that make complex technical information (test coverage, code impact, AI-generated results) feel simple and trustworthy
• Prototype fast, put work in front of users and the team early, and iterate based on what you learn — wed rather see three rough versions this week than one polished one next month
• Challenge our assumptions. Youre not here to execute someone elses vision; youre here to bring your own point of view and defend it with data and reasoning
• Maintain a comprehensive design system as the product grows

Who were looking for

• Product designer with a portfolio showing shipped work (B2B SaaS or developer tools is a strong plus, not a requirement)
• Fluent in Figma and comfortable prototyping at whatever fidelity the question demands
• Someone who thrives in ambiguity — we wont hand you a detailed spec, well hand you a problem
• Bias toward shipping: youd rather learn from a live release than perfect a mockup
• Curious about AI products and willing to learn how developers actually work, even if you havent designed for them before
• Strong communicator who can explain design decisions to engineers and push back when needed

What you get

• Outsized ownership: your decisions define how the product looks and feels
• A small, fast team where theres no layer between you and the outcome
• Direct exposure to customers and real usage dataCompensation: market range + ESOPs
