Job summary

Optimum Solutions in Bengaluru seeks a senior data governance professional to lead coordination of data-related programs, liaising with business and risk teams. You will shape data requirements, impact assessments, and project plans, ensuring alignment between policy, regulation and technical design.

You will drive data quality, lifecycle governance, metadata management, and data lineage initiatives across financial crime and payments data domains, enabling compliant and trustworthy data

Qualifications

• Experience in data governance, lifecycle controls and data management frameworks.
• Experience with CDE, metadata, and lineage is preferred.
• Regulatory environments (Financial Crime, Payments, Banking) experience is beneficial.
• Strong stakeholder management across business, risk, and technology.

Job Description:

Manages coordination of data related projects, liaising with key stakeholders within CDO BU SU. Monitors, leads execution and mandates optimal coordination of data related project progress against milestones. Provides support to data related project teams on the definition of business requirements, impact assessment, project plan definition. Facilitates the relationship between business and technical teams to support accurate and appropriate data management decisions being made on evolving solutions on a day-to-day basis. Contributes to the conversation of specific data management business needs into functional designs, working with stakeholders to clarify details and optimise the solutions to deliver on changes or enhancements. Relevant qualifications in data management disciplines such as risk, compliance, audit, actuarial or analytics

Technical Leadership:

Deep technical expertise in data management, data engineering, stewardship and cloud migration with focus on AWS Cloud will be desirable

Tooling:

A core background in data engineering along with decent exposure to managing hands-on tools such as Python, SQL, and key AWS integration packages.

Cloud Architecture:

Demonstrated experience in developing, deploying, and monitoring on AWS infrastructures.

CI/CD:

Experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub is desirable.
