• 7+ years of experience in Finance, Controllers, Product Control, or Regulatory Reporting within a financial services environment.
• Professional accounting qualification required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP with exposure to UK GAAP / IFRS.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong controls mindset with focus on accuracy, audit readiness, and documentation quality.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on root-cause resolution.
• Effective stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end product control and financial governance for ICB retail products.
• Execute monthly close activities including journal processing, balance sheet substantiation, and adherence to reporting timelines.
• Perform variance analysis and financial analytics, with clear articulation of key drivers and business impacts.
• Review and validate financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation integrity.
• Support preparation and governance of external financial disclosures and regulatory submissions.
• Apply and enhance control frameworks, including tie-outs, proofing, and cross-report validations.
• Proactively identify and resolve data, process, and system breaks, driving root-cause analysis and sustainable remediation.
• Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Risk, Treasury, Compliance, and Technology to ensure end-to-end process alignment.
• Represent Controllers in cross-functional forums, communicating accounting and reporting implications clearly.
• Support internal and external audits through documentation, walkthroughs, and issue resolution.
• Drive automation, process simplification, and reporting efficiency initiatives and contribute to change programs and new product initiatives, ensuring controls are embedded from design to BAU
