Job summary

uEngage, based in Chandigarh, India, is seeking a data/product-minded analyst to help understand merchant needs and translate them into measurable product actions. You will decompose ill-defined problems, analyse raw data, and observe performance in production environments.

You will contribute to prioritization decisions for upcoming builds and assess outcomes after each release, providing clear reasoning for actions including deprioritized features.

• Investigate merchant needs by distinguishing between what customers ask for and what will actually solve their problem
• Decompose ill-defined problems into discrete, testable pieces with clear success criteria
• Analyse raw data independently and form conclusions before being asked for input
• Observe product performance in production environments, including failure modes like cancelled rides and failed transactions
• Contribute to prioritization decisions for upcoming builds and articulate the reasoning behind your choices, including features deliberately deprioritized
• Assess outcomes after each release and provide direct feedback on whether objectives were met
