Job summary

Bradford Consultants seeks a Tech Lead/Tech Architect for Payments Systems to design and optimize enterprise-grade payment platforms. You will architect secure, scalable solutions handling millions of daily transactions and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering fault-tolerant performance.

You will mentor engineering teams, collaborate with product and compliance, and drive innovation in digital payments, leveraging Azure/AWS/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes, and SQL/NoSQL data stores.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in payments or financial systems engineering.
• Deep expertise in backend transaction processing with .NET/C#.
• Strong knowledge of PCI DSS and PSD2, payment compliance.
• Experience with high-availability, fault-tolerant architectures.
• Cloud experience (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable).
• Containerization with Docker/Kubernetes for scalable deployments.
• Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL databases.
• Proven track record leading engineering teams on large systems.
