Job summary

Zoetis India Capability Center (ZICC) in Hyderabad is seeking a skilled SAP BW4/HANA reporting specialist to join the ZTD ERP group. You will configure, customize, and optimize reporting solutions using SAP BW4/HANA, Datasphere Embedded Analytics, and SAC to support business processes.

The role emphasizes data modeling, SQL scripting, CDS views, and S4HANA–driven reporting with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and collaboration with global teams across the Zoetis network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science.
• Ability to quickly learn existing business processes and combine knowledge to deliver optimal SAP reporting solutions.
• Strong experience in Python and data-related problem solving.
• Experience leveraging AI tools and automation in SAP Basis areas.

The primary purpose is to facilitate seamless developments in SAP BW4/HANA, Datasphere Embedded Analytics and SAC. Key accountabilities include -

• Providing technical support to resolve reporting-related issues and incidents, including root cause analysis and problem resolution.


• Configuring and customizing reporting solutions to meet specific business needs, including mapping data formats and orchestrating business processes.


• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including design documents, user guides.


• Conducting testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing, to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of BW solutions.


• Good understanding of SAP ERP/S4HANA systems and cloud technologies with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.


• Data modeling: Strong Understanding of BW4HANA Calculation View Modeling, Table Functions etc


• SQL: Ability to write SQL scripts and stored procedures


• CDS views: Knowledge on customizing Standard CDS views


• S4HANA: Experience with S4HANA embedded reporting customization


• Performance optimization: Proficiency in performance tuning techniques, such as evaluating statistical performance and data load improvisation.

• Interacting with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, understand business processes, and ensure that reporting solutions align with organizational goals and objectives.


• Work with implementation partners who may be responsible for deploying, configuring, or maintaining integrated solutions within the client's IT landscape.


• Coordinate with developers and other members of the development team to implement reporting solutions, share knowledge, and address technical challenges.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science

Experience:

• Ability to quickly learn existing Business Processes and combine knowledge from multiple disciplines (e.g. SAP capability, Standard industry best practice) to produce an optimal solution for business.


• Strong experience in Python.


• Leverage latest AI tool set and automation capabilities to work on business problems in SAP Basis area

PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Regular working hours are from 3:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST. (ICC Second Shift)

Sometimes, more overlap with the EST Time zone is required during production go-live.
