Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Manager, Procurement & Contracts provides strategic and operational leadership across the full Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle, with a strong focus on supporting technology hiring vendor management and US-led RFP initiatives. This role owns category sourcing strategies, leads complex negotiations, and ensures robust compliance through disciplined governance, policy execution, and SOX controls. Partnering with Legal, Finance, HR, and global business stakeholders, the Manager drives supplier performance, optimizes total cost of ownership, and mitigates operational risk. The role also guides a team of Leads and Analysts to support end-to-end RFP execution, vendor onboarding, and contract lifecycle management. A key change leader, this position champions automation, digital procurement tools, and data-driven insights to enhance efficiency, transparency, and collaboration across geographies.

Essential Job Functions
  • Oversee strategic supplier relationships, lead contract negotiations, and establish performance metrics and governance reviews. Drive innovation, quality improvements, and cost optimization through strong supplier collaboration and accountability - (30%)
  • Own the end-to-end procurement process from sourcing and contracting to purchase order execution and supplier payment. Define category strategies, approve sourcing frameworks, and ensure adherence to global P2P policies and SLAs. Drive consistent governance, efficiency, and compliance across regions or business unit - (25%)
  • Establish and maintain SOX-compliant controls across procurement processes. Lead internal and external audits, ensure policy updates are implemented globally, and proactively manage supplier risk and contract exposure - (15%)
  • Serve as business owner for major P2P system enhancements (Coupa, PeopleSoft, Concur). Approve functional designs, oversee UAT, manage change-control governance, and drive automation to enable scalable, data-driven procurement operations - (10%)
  • Lead and inspire a team of Procurement Leads and Analysts. Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide mentorship and career development. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement - (5%)
  • Oversee spend analytics, procurement budgeting, and financial forecasting. Present cost-avoidance, savings, and operational performance reports to executive leadership for strategic decision-making - (5%)
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Tax, and Business Operations to align procurement strategies with organizational priorities. Provide expert guidance on commercial terms, payment structures, and regulatory compliance - (5%)
  • Champion process optimization and digital procurement innovation. Lead initiatives focused on automation, supplier enablement, and end-user adoption to enhance transparency, speed, and value delivery - (5%)
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree Commerce, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Certifications in PMP, ITIL, CIPS, NCMA, or Coupa Advanced
  • 8-10 years P2P transformation, with 3+ years of project(S), mentoring and/or coaching experience
