Job summary

BMW Group Plant Debrecen is seeking a Process Technician to ensure smooth robotic production lines and overall manufacturing performance. You will work on a highly automated line, performing maintenance, inspections, and servicing to keep production running reliably.

The role requires a secondary-level qualification in electrical engineering, electronics, automation, or mechatronics, plus prior production maintenance experience.

Qualifications

Secondary-level qualification in electrical engineering, electronics, automation or mechatronics.
Previous production maintenance experience is required.
Willingness to work in rotating shifts.
Native Hungarian speaker; no foreign language requirement.
Strong attention to detail and structured problem analysis.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems.

Responsibilities

Maintain and ensure continuity of automated production lines.
Perform inspections and regular servicing of equipment.
Collaborate with team leaders and technicians to troubleshoot malfunctions.
Monitor PLC programs, robotics and conveyors; intervene to optimize production.

As a Process technician at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you will play a key role in ensuring that robotic production lines and overall manufacturing run smoothly, with a strong focus on the mechanical aspects of the equipment.

What awaits you?

Work environment – a highly automated production line equipped with robots, where you’ll have a significant role in setup and operation.

Team – as part of a team of 6-8 members, you’ll participate in carrying out maintenance tasks.

Ensure production continuity – you will make sure that production equipment runs continuously, performing inspections and regular servicing tasks.

Problem-solving – you’ll collaborate with production team leaders and maintenance technicians to maintain equipment, eliminate malfunctions, identify and resolve production process issues.

Production optimization – you’ll monitor PLC programs, robots, and conveyor systems, and intervene when necessary to ensure optimized production.

What should you bring along?

Education – a secondary-level qualification in electrical engineering, electronics, automation, or mechatronics.

Work experience – previous experience in production maintenance.

Work schedule – willingness to work in multiple or rotating shifts.

Language skills – native Hungarian speaker; no foreign language skills required.

Precision – strong attention to details, structured problem analysis.

Responsibility – ability to work independently and taking responsibly as part of a team.

Communication and teamwork – strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, openness to continuous self-development.
