Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mineral Processing, or related field.
• 3–7 years' experience with QCX/Blendexpert and Robolab or similar advanced process control systems in cement plants.
• Strong knowledge of cement chemistry, raw materials, and clinker production.
• Proficient data analysis with SPC tools and interpretation.
• Troubleshooting skills for process control systems and good teamwork.
• Experience with PLC/DCS and HMI/SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor BlendExpert system health, performance, and availability.
• Identify optimization opportunities to improve process stability, quality, and productivity.
• Analyze KPIs, process trends, and controller performance to maximize system utilization.
• Provide remote troubleshooting and technical support for BlendExpert applications.
• Conduct regular customer review meetings and performance discussions.
• Recommend and implement tuning, configuration, and optimization improvements.
• Coordinate with process experts, engineers, and site teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare performance reports, dashboards, and customer benefit analyses.
• Ensure timely management of incidents, escalations, and corrective actions per SLAs.
• Drive continuous improvement through best practices, knowledge sharing, and training.

About the Role: The Process Optimization Specialist (Advanced Process Control & Quality Optimization) Specialist at Fuller Technologies Cement India LLP is responsible for optimizing cement production processes through the effective utilization and maintenance of QCX-Blendexpert systems, ensuring consistent product quality and operational efficiency.

About the Department

The Global PlantLine Services Department at Fuller Technologies is a dedicated lifecycle services organization responsible for delivering comprehensive support, optimization, maintenance, and cybersecurity services for customers operating Fuller automation and digital solutions under PlantLine Agreements (PLA). The department provides 24x7 global remote support, proactive monitoring, performance optimization, lifecycle management, and cybersecurity services to maximize system reliability, availability, performance, and business value. With service agreements spanning more than 350 customer plants worldwide, the department plays a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, customer success, and long-term sustainability of automation investments.

Your responsibilities

Monitor BlendExpert system health, performance, and availability proactively. Identify optimization opportunities to improve process stability, quality, and productivity. Analyze KPIs, process trends, and controller performance to maximize system utilization. Provide remote troubleshooting and technical support for BlendExpert applications. Coordinate with process experts, engineers, and site teams to resolve operational issues. Prepare performance reports, dashboards, and customer benefit analyses. Ensure timely management of incidents, escalations, and corrective actions in line with service agreements. Drive continuous improvement through best practices, knowledge sharing, customer training, and proactive service initiatives.

10 - 20 % site travel in a Year for implementation and preventive maintenance.

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mineral Processing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 -7 years of experience working with QCX/Blendexpert and Robolab or similar advanced process control systems, Raw mix optimizer or any Mix control application in a cement manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of cement chemistry, raw material properties, and clinker production processes.
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with experience using statistical process control (SPC) tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to process control systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate technical information clearly.
• Experience with PLC/DCS systems
• Experience in HMI/SCADA
