Kotak Mahindra Bank is seeking a senior professional to draft and disseminate SOPs for the Consumer Bank (Liabilities) division. The role involves coordinating regulatory changes across Savings, Fixed Deposits, Trade Finance, and Branch Banking operations.

You will identify and revise existing processes, work with Compliance/Risk/Product/Legal/OPS, and ensure timely sign-offs. Strong communication, analytical skills, and proactive process thinking are essential.

• Draft or design and disseminate SOPs for Consumer Bank (Liabilities) division, covering products, regulatory changes, and branch operations.

• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Product, Legal, OPS to gather inputs for changes.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain sign-off and circulate updated SOPs for approval.
• Ensure smooth implementation and rollout of processes within defined timelines.

Job Description:

Job responsibilities:

1. Drafting / designing and then disseminating SOP for Consumer Bank (Liabilities) division of Bank which includes all product led, tech changes, Branch transformation & regular operations, regulatory changes across all products under Consumer Bank.
2. Responsible for identification and review of existing processes for revision/updation.
3. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders like Compliance / Risk / Product / Legal / OPS etc. to gather information. for any changes/inputs
4. Co-ordinate with all stakeholders to seek sign off on approach. Post sign off, amend / create SOP and circulate the same for approval
5. Responsible for ensuring that implementation & roll out of process within defined TAT of Bank
6. Handling query desk for quick resolution of queries / clarifications raised by channel
7. Providing tailor made solution to Branches for specific business requirements.
8. Provide assistance to product / operations /management.

Job Requirements:

1. Graduate with 7+ yrs experience in drafting SOPs for Consumer Bank (Liabilities) products like Savings account, Fixed Deposits, Trade Finance, Branch Banking operations etc.
2. Ability to decode / interpret regulatory guidelines and drive implementation within the timeline prescribed by regulator
3. Strong communication and collaborative skills
4. Good analytical skills with an eye for detail
5. Should be able to think proactively for process changes from Business Process Re-engineering perspective
6. Should be aware of competitive practices as well as customer journey map
7. Knowledge of Regulatory Guidelines
