Job description

Summary

This is an individual contributor role responsible for supporting end-to-end payroll operations for Singapore and APAC market in compliance with SOPs, company policies, and SLAs within a shared services environment. This person will be part of the GBS Team, ensuring accurate payroll processing, resolving employee queries, and supporting HR operations using Workday and ServiceNow.

Responsibilities
  • Process payroll inputs and support end-to-end payroll operations with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Validate payroll data including attendance, leave, reimbursements, deductions, and statutory components.
  • Manage payroll-related employee queries and resolve issues within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure payroll transactions are processed in compliance with company policies, labour laws, and statutory regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records in HR and payroll systems.
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external payroll vendors to ensure smooth payroll processing.
  • Support employee lifecycle activities related to payroll including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and exit settlements.
  • Monitor and reconcile payroll reports, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Handle confidential employee information with integrity and discretion.
Qualifications
  • 5–8 years of experience in Payroll operations (Singapore, APAC preferred), HR shared services, or payroll administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources / business administration, Commerce or related field.
  • Experience working with HRIS/payroll systems such as Workday and ServiceNow.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
