Responsibilities

  • Handle Quality check as per the checklist and ensure high accuracy.
  • Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets and update information as needed.
  • Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output.
  • Collect data in databases and maintain accurate records.
  • Possess data entry skills, like fast typing with detail and spreadsheets knowledge.
  • Generate reports, store completed work and perform backups.
  • Keep information confidential and respond to queries.
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies.
  • Ensure proper use of office equipment and address malfunctions.
  • Create and maintain documents/procedures as needed.
  • Handle calls from customers and provide solutions.
  • Discuss every matter with supervisor to resolve issues.
  • Provide clear resolutions to customers; avoid escalations.
  • Set goals and work toward them to maintain quality while serving customers.
  • Work with stakeholders to implement smooth transitions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job description

Section 1: Position Summary

This role is mainly responsible for overseeing the entire process, including monitoring quality, turnaround time, and key metrics. Additionally, it involves identifying opportunities and conducting quality checks for the accounts receivable process within the HRO benefits domain, preferably experience with USA region.

Section 2: Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Handle Quality check as per the checklist and ensuring high accuracy.
  • Maintaining bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets and updating information as needed.
  • Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output.
  • Collecting and entering data in databases and maintaining accurate records of valuable company information.
  • Possess data entry skills, like fast typing with an eye for detail and familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms.
  • Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations.
  • Keep information confidential.
  • Respond to queries for information and access relevant files.
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies.
  • Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions.
  • Create and maintain documents/procedures as needed to meet the process requirements.
  • Handle calls from customers or clients and provide them with a solution to their queries.
  • Must discuss every matter with its supervisor or team leader to get any issue sorted.
  • Giving a resolution to the customers or clients should be the whole and sole responsibility.
  • Must efficiently set goals and work on, so as to avoid any escalations and maintain the relevancy and quality while providing service to the customers.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and implement a smooth and efficient transition plan.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
  • Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

Section 3: Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements
  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance/Accounting background.
  • Proven track record of working effectively in flexible work environment in a result-oriented approach.
  • Accomplished in developing and recommending strategic plans and actions.
  • Strong performance management background with demonstrated experience in quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods, e.g., benchmarking.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word Experience of 8+ years in Finance and Accounting operations domain (including at least 1 year of team leadership experience.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and Good Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Should be a Self-Learner.
  • Strong PC skills specifically with Excel.
  • Access skills are a definite plus.
  • Flexibility in work culture (She/he should be flexible in Day/Mid/Night shift based on business requirement).
  • Experience in the US retirement/benefits domain is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, along with an ability to quickly comprehend and analyze data.
  • For all virtual remote positions, in order to ensure associates can effectively perform their job duties with no distractions, we require an uninterrupted virtual workspace and there is also an expectation of family care being in place during business hours.
  • Additionally, there is an internet work speed requirement of 25 Mbps or better for individual use.
