Job summary

AcoBloom International® is seeking an experienced accountant to handle UK year-end processes, bookkeeping, and finalization across multiple entity types. You will manage a small team, coordinate with seniors and clients, and ensure accurate VAT/CIS handling using Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.

The ideal candidate has at least four years in UK accounting, strong communication, and is pursuing ACCA. This role focuses on accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting from our India-based office.

• Commerce graduate or pursuing ACCA

Responsibilities

• Recording, processing and reviewing transactions on Xero, QuickBooks, SAGE.
• Analysis and recording VAT Input/Output and CIS.
• Preparation and Finalization of accounts for Sole trader, Partnerships, and Companies.
• Production of financial reports using IRIS, TaxCalc, Sage
• Regular updates to seniors/clients on workflow and time spend.

Job description

• Recording, processing and reviewing transactions and events on a periodic basis on certain book-keeping software’s such as Xero, QBO etc.
• Analysis and recording of the relevant VAT Input/Output and CIS during regular bookkeeping.
• Following the existing practices of Management Accounting to generate periodic reports and detailed evaluation of the Management Accounting Systems.
• Preparation and Finalization of accounts for the various entity types and sizes such as Sole trader, Partnerships, and Limited Companies (Micro, Small, Medium and Large) including preparation of working paper file.
• Preparation and Finalization of Financial Reports over the external Accounts Production Softwares in compliance to Financial Reporting Standards 105, 102(1A) and 102 over certain softwares such as IRIS, TaxCalc, Sage and others.
• Analysis, meaningful interpretation and detailed review of the working papers, Financial Statements and Tax Returns.
• Preparation and review of Business Tax Computations and CT600 return.
• Strong knowledge of Book-keeping Softwares such as Xero, QuickBooks, SAGE
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Finalization softwares such as IRIS, Tax calc, Sage.
• Ability to handle a team of at least 3 people.
• Regular updates to the seniors and clients (as the need arises) on the workflow and time being spent on the jobs.
