A leading engineering company in Mumbai is seeking a Senior Engineer in Process Innovation to enhance manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have 2–6 years of experience in process improvement and assembly engineering. Responsibilities include conducting time & motion studies and optimizing plant layouts using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Candidates should hold a B.E./B.Tech in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering and have strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and automation.
• Ability to conduct time & motion studies and lead line balancing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct time & motion studies, and lead line balancing initiatives.
• Perform capacity and manpower planning for press shop, fabrication, and assembly lines.
• Design and optimize plant layouts, assembly lines, and material flow systems.
• Drive productivity improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and automation tools.
• Collaborate on jigs, fixtures, and tooling development with design and manufacturing teams.
• Lead APQP, FMEA, and process capability studies for new product launches.
• Support automation projects, including robotic testing and MES/WMS integration.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Prepare and present MIS reports, efficiency dashboards, and project updates to management.
