Job summary

Bunge invites applications for the Process Executive - Trade Settlements role based in Mohali, Punjab, India. The role focuses on accurate input of commodity orders in SAP, including load planning, tickets, billing and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in International Agri-commodity execution/finance.
  • Advanced in written and verbal English; other languages advantageous.
  • Proficient in SAP, analytical tools and MS Office.
  • Customer focus and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Input purchase and sale orders/contracts and amendments in SAP.
  • Load order creation in SAP.
  • Execute purchase and sales orders.
  • Create and apply tickets in SAP.
  • Create/update Billing String and run invoicing cycles.
  • Issue invoices, credits and debits notes.
  • Handle customer queries/complaints related to quality, transport and goods.
  • Prepare daily reports (plant, missed pickups, detention, cancellations, contract balance).
  • Coordinate with internal/external interfaces daily.
  • Communicate effectively on day-to-day operations with stakeholders.
  • Work to achieve personal and team goals.
  • Be flexible for US shift as required.

Department : Trade Operations-Settlements

Role Purpose Statement

The overall responsibility of the Settlement Specialist is the accurate and timely input of commodity purchase and sales orders/contracts including amendments in the system (SAP) , load order creation and application for Rail, Truck and Barge movements, create and apply tickets in SAP, Purchase and sales execution in SAP, freight adjustments, quality claim settlement, payment proposal creations as well as preparation of daily reports as per business requirement.

Key Interfaces: Internal External

Interaction with trading, execution, sales, plant, controller, accounting, finance desks, also direct communication with third parties suppliers/buyers, surveyors and agents.

  • In-put of purchase and sale orders/contracts and relevant amendments in the system (SAP).
  • Load order creation and application in SAP.
  • Execute Purchase and sales order.
  • Create and apply tickets in SAP.
  • Creation and up-dation of Billing String.
  • Issuance of invoices, credits, debits notes..
  • Manage Customer queries and complains related to Quality, transportation and incorrect material.
  • Preparing daily reports like plant reports, missed pickup, detention, cancellation, contract balance report as prepared and issued on time.
  • Close coordination with internal and external interfaces on day to day activities.
  • Effective communication on all day to day operation related activities with various stakeholders.
  • Work in coherence to achieve self and team goals.
  • Daily status update and report issues to the manager, for timely resolution.
  • Should be flexible to work in US shift as per business requirement.

- Turnaround time in the document delivery and collection.

- Accuracy in the related process.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

- Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or related field.

- Desirable minimum 2-3 years of experience in International Agri-commodity execution/finance..

- Advanced in both written and verbal English. Knowledge of any other foreign language(s) would be an advantage.

- Computer proficiency (SAP, Analytical tools, MS Office).
