Detailed Description:

Job Purpose: Regional Operations quote and business development leadership

• Quote leadership and management
• Support business pursuit activities for Global Operations
• Driving best in class quotation performance in cost and mfg optimization, leveraging OTO technical expertise and solid plant technical knowledge
• Quote process adherence
• Drive Plants & OTO technical team to meet Operations KPIs
• Collaborate with PD, Plant, Customer Group and OTO to enable all quotes are meeting Operations KPIs
• Lead 3 or 4 Engineering graduates and deliver weekly leadership review preparations, enhance existing quote tools / systems.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Support of Manufacturing Quote activities (80%)
• Single point of contact for product industrialization for Quote, CG and PD teams
• Single point of contact for Operations Technology Office and Cost Estimation members (including DTG)
• Consolidates the information flow between PD and manufacturing locations
• Coordinates and develops optimum industrialization proposals in collaboration with the plants
• Supports plants with customer specific knowledge to ensure full understanding of customer specification and quote compliance
• Delivers the lowest total cost solution for new business
• Ensures the Best Practices execution for business pursuit in the plants
• Leads, supports and guides plants in the industrialization for approval of Gate 2

• Additional responsibilities (20%)
• Attends new business pursuit meetings held by Account Managers/Quote Leaders (product definition, PDM, …)
• Ensures a flawless communication between Quote team and Plant team representatives
• Attends Gate 0, Gate 1 pre-reviews and related footprint meetings

Key Performance Indicators:

• 95% of quotes completed to quote timing commitments
• CAPEX as % of quote revenue
• Mfg cost as % of selling price < 9.5% for 100% of quotes
• Reuse / cost improvement actions identified for >70% of quotes

Critical experiences required to be ready for this job:

• Detailed knowledge of key manufacturing equipment and processes used within Visteon’s global manufacturing footprint
• Strong knowledge of Electronics Final Assembly Automation / SMT and board prep / IC-Testers and FC-Testers
• Knowledge of other manufacturing equipment & processes used in Automotive Electronics production including: Display manufacturing / LOCA / OCA Optical Bonding / Structural Bonding
• Quotation process knowledge & Customer experience
• Global plants experience and relationships

Special/regulatory requirements – if any

• Bachelors/Master of Engineering in relevant field,
• Exposure to automotive and electronics Industry
• English language is mandatory
• Some travel would be expected from the role
